  1. I just think it’s simple and we like to make it complicated because it makes us feel more important. Making it so allows us to live always in the future (or the past). Accepting the present moment and its frequent (but actually beautiful) mundaneness is the enemy of the ego.

    • I think the simplicity is… maddening haha. I think the more we understand (or think we understand), the less mystery there seems to be. Less… excitment. I’d agree that it’s all a lot simpler than people like to admit, and I think it’s all mostly pointless… but hat can be boring to. I like this quote because it reminds me of that, but also reminds me that just because there’s no reason doesn’t mean there has to be no fun, excitment, or stimulation.

      Yeah, I definitely think the mundane is usually under-rated 🙂 .
