If you’re feeling down or miserable all the time, it’s because you’ve grown accustomed to it.
You tolerate it, you’ve become okay with it on some level. You are allowing it.
I’d say on the one hand not to beat yourself up about it too much (that’s a waste of time), but on the other hand, stop putting up with that shit. If you don’t like something, fucking change it.
